New Site Biotech Site Launch: LuminUltra

LuminUltra is a global biotech firm with customers and sales network partners from North America to Asia and all points in between. Since their initial launch in 2003, they have converted their line of test kits into solutions tailored to specific applications for monitoring and controlling microbes in drinking water, manufacturing industries, energy applications, and wastewater treatment.

In addition, LuminUltra’s educational mission is to inform the public of the risks microorganisms can cause in water systems.

LuminUltra came to the 3 Media Web team with a difficult website to maintain and integrate with their inbound marketing solutions. The website did not reflect their global scope and their brand message of “… if you do not measure it, you cannot control it.”

To improve the look and navigation of the site 3 Media Web:

  • Integrated contemporary photos, graphics, and colors
  • Added interactive features such as a custom login system to help visitors find solutions and a link to their downloadable brochure

The highly technical nature of the LuminUltra products needed to be concisely yet clearly described on the website.

To clearly explain how LuminUltra helps clients detect water-borne contaminants, 3 Media Web:

  • Used custom illustrations, diagrams, and illustrations
  • Created side-by-side comparison charts

The website needed a more intuitive navigational format to serve several industries – from drinking water to wastewater treatment … to cooling water systems and metal-working fluids.

To relate to several different industries in one website, 3 Media Web created a custom industry solution finder on the home page which easily directs visitors to the information they are seeking.

One of the challenges LuminUltra faced was the need to update its website frequently as the company grew.

To allow trouble-free content management 3 Media Web:

  • Integrated Pardot so the client can now easily manage content and inbound leads programs
  • Provided custom content management to update their website as needed
