3 Media Web is pleased to announce it has been honored with 13 prestigious Horizon Interactive Web and Design Awards for responsive web design projects.
“The most important thing for us when we build a website is that the customer’s needs are met,” says 3 Media Web Founder, Marc Avila. “Awards are not a priority for us, and they can never compare to a loyal customer who recommends us to other companies. With that being said, it is still pretty great to receive such prestigious awards.”
The Horizon Interactive Design Awards have become one of the most prestigious awards in the field of interactive and creative media. The competition recognizes, promotes, and awards the best websites, videos, online advertising, print media, and mobile applications. Each year, the Horizon Interactive Design Awards receives thousands of entries from all over the world and a volunteer panel of industry professionals, from diverse multi-media, graphic design, advertising, and marketing backgrounds, review the entries to determine the work that is to be recognized.
The Horizon Interactive Design Awards for best websites were presented to:
Bake N’Joy
Like a lot of the websites 3 Media Web redesigned and developed in the past year, Bake N’Joy had a non-responsive and technically dated website. In 2015, the huge trend towards designing responsive websites hit the Internet like a tidal wave after Google announced it would be a requirement in Google’s latest Algorithm. Fortunately, the Bake N’ Joy responsive website launch hit the Internet long before Google handed down its “Mobilegeddon”.
DataFinity Group
DataFinity Group helps enterprises make sense of their data and required a new responsive website to use as a marketing tool to help close deals with bigger, more reputable companies. The Datafinity Group site professionally portrays the company on all devices and now has an award to prove it!
Pilot Ceramics
Another B2B company, Pilot Ceramics makes nonmetallic high tolerance components that are used in smartphones and sports cars. Pilot Ceramics to high-end customers and layout the capabilities of the components they can create on-demand.
Vantage PR
Not only did this big-city public relations firm have an old non-responsive website, but what they had was not laid out logically for visitors to navigate. The company also received a custom WordPress website that was responsive and allowed visitors to easily view articles, press releases and other items from the firm. Vantage PR was acquired by PAN Communications earlier this year and now uses a different website.
Xcovery
Xcovery.com is biotech and life science company that is working on treatments for advanced lung cancer. Xcovery is part of a network of brands under a parent company that wanted each subsidiary to break off with separate websites. 3 Media Web made the Xcovery website responsive and manageable for the client to update. It was important that the website be easily navigable by the core audiences, which included investors, patients, and people looking for information on drug trials.
